Getting new tyres is always a nightmare because the Adventure
has an 18 inch rear wheel. There are very few high mileage rear road tyres
for this size. The best I've found is the Pirelli MT90 (which is fitted
as standard on 950's).
The recommended sizes are Front 90/90 21
and a 140/80 18 on the rear.
The table below show's why I considered converting the rear to an 17 wheel
and why I eventually decided not to.
