I know my new bike is rather good. It’s a lot lighter than the Stinky and the suspension, although it has less travel, is much more sophisticated, both in it's design and the technology in the components used.

This means I might not want to sell it back to Charly, or even send it back home when I leave Valle, but take it with me as I head south.

All I have to do is figure out a way of carrying it.

Taking it on my bike is made more difficult because of the panniers and top box:

I could tie the wheels to my spare tyre carrier at the back of the bike. The tricky bit is how to carry the frame and forks. Turning the handlebars sideways will make the frame narrower but I’am not sure where to put it yet.

The most helpful suggestion so far is to cut it up into smaller bits.

Hmm, where can I put the bike?

If you happen to have already carried a bike on a bike and have an elegant solution or have some ideas please email me with the details.
